Procreate Digital Illustration

Learn how to use Procreate - a magical pencil that allows you to create works of art of any kind and creative vision directly on your device. Let your imagination unfold and let Procreate be your digital canvas!

This course will help you in exploring your creative art style using Procreate. Through hands-on learning exercises you will learn to utililize the different tools and develop a portfolio of illustrations.

As a participant you will learn how to use:

• painting tools.
• brush studio.
• color.
• texture.
• composition.
• hand-lettering.
• typography.
• animation.
• various art styles like illustrated maps, retro-inspired art, digital watercolor, stylized character design, pattern making and travel journal illustration.

Throughout the 6 sessions we will focus on:

1. procreate interface.
2. color & editing tools.
3. stylized character design.
4. animation.
5. typography and hand-lettering techniques.
6. illustrated Maps.
   
   

Requirements for the Course

Everyone is welcome to join and no prior information of illustration or Procreate is needed. If you are intermediate in using Procreate, there is space for learning how to develop your creative portfolio and learn advanced techniques.

Practical Information

Please bring:

• iPad and charger.
• Apple Pencil or any stylus compatible with iPad.
• access to the Procreate app (can be purchased from the App Store for DKK 99,-).
• notebooks and pencils for taking notes and sketching ideas.
