Gyoza with Handmade Sheets

Japanese gyoza, also known as dumplings, are a culinary delight that blends flavors and textures in each bite.

It is a popular Japanese dish made from thin sheets of dough filled with a mixture of ground meat and vegetables. Among several eating styles of gyoza in Japan, including boiled, pan-fried, or cooked in soup, the pan-fried version is the most popular.

If you've been curious about crafting your own gyoza, now is the perfect time!

As a participant in this course, you will:

  • learn the essential steps to make delicious gyoza, including how to make thin gyoza sheets from dough.
  • gain insight into the food culture and its uniquie ingredients.
  • enjoy your gyoza in various cooking styles.

Requirements for the Course

To participant in this gyoza class, you need no prior knowledge, just your passion. Please note that the recipes are customized by the instructor with local ingredients, making it easier to try at home. This course may not be suitable for those seeking the most authentic Japanese recipes. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, please contact the instructor in advance to discuss possible options. 

Practical Information

The course is taught in english, and all ingredients are included in the price. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage, if you'd like. Additionally, we recommend bringing a container in case you have any leftovers.
